My Profession
Being a dentist gives me the opportunity to meet many wonderful people, while offering the privilege of helping each with their dental health issues. The care I give my patients lets me have a much closer relationship with them than many other professions; because of these relationships, I feel even more of a reason to help them, and they, in turn, have a greater trust in me.
It is a pleasure to, step-by-step, share a patient’s dental journey. I find great satisfaction in attending to the details of treatment, for the ideal experience and results. When a patient offers a bright, pleased smile and words of thanks at the end of an appointment, I am happy. They appreciate the work put in to achieve excellent results, and I know I positively impacted their life.
Through the care I provide, I help to improve my patients’ lives: addressing their dental needs, educating them about their oral health, and giving them confidence in their smiles!

Education and Professional Affiliations
Dr. Maria Rosario has practiced dentistry for over 20 years. She attended the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She then attended Northwestern University Dental School, where she graduated with honors and was awarded her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS).
Dental school ensured Dr. Rosario had a thorough understanding of the foundation of modern dentistry.
Like all areas of healthcare, though, dentistry is constantly changing. Research leads to technological advancements: improvements in diagnostics, treatment planning, and procedures; and betters the patient experience and results.
Dr. Rosario keeps abreast of the latest developments in general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, as well as orthodontics, through ongoing continuing education (CE).
She is an active member of the:

- California Dental Association
- Academy of General Dentistry
- United States Dental Institute
These professional organizations provide numerous opportunities for members to further their learning.
Participating in meetings, seminars, lectures, webinars, and studying journals allows Dr. Rosario to learn about the newest dental products and latest techniques. Through careful assessment, she is then able to incorporate the best into her practice and patient care.
Beyond the Office
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Rosario has resided with her family in Fullerton for over 15 years. Her husband is a physician in Santa Ana and the couple has two children: a son who is currently a high school senior and a daughter who is a sophomore.
Most of Dr. Rosario’s free time is spent with her family. They enjoy weekend bike rides, adventures at the park with Duke, their young Goldendoodle, and traveling. Dr. Rosario is also an avid cook and enjoys trying out new recipes for her family.
